Welcome to George Abbot School Centred Initial Teacher Training

We are a teacher training provider with excellent results.  

George Abbot SCITT is a highly respected and well established provider delivering teacher training in schools across Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex.  We offer Secondary routes into teaching on a full-time basis.  Part-time options are available for shortage subjects.  There are opportunities for trainees to specialise in Special Educational Needs (SEND).

We work with Kingston University to award a PGCE.

Exciting news! From September 2024 we will be formalising our partnership with South Farnham SCITT.  All information on the website remains up to date and you can be interviewed and placed in all our usual partnership schools. 
We are delighted to be working with our South Farnham colleagues to provide teacher training across the region.
