Our training
programmes

We offer Secondary school based teacher training with the option to study for QTS or a PGCE with QTS.

QTS – Qualified Teacher Status – at the end of your training year you will be recommended for QTS

PGCE with QTS – is equivalent to 60 Masters level credits. Our training programme is accredited by Kingston University and is delivered by Joanna Jones, our Director of SCITT.

Our Programmes
  • Secondary (students aged from 11 to 16 or 14 to 19)

Programmes are offered in the subjects listed below.  There is no limit to the number of trainees we can take in each course although not every partner school will be able to support a trainee in every subject.  Course codes for application are in brackets following each subject.  Part time routes may be available in some of our partner schools in certain subjects.

This is a 12 week employment based route for achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) whilst working as a teacher. This is only open to experienced candidates currently employed as unqualified teachers. Please contact us for more information.
