For 2020/21 our tuition fees are:

£8,300

for trainees on the QTS only route

£9,250

for trainees who opt for the PGCE route

Salaried primary

Trainees on the Salaried Primary programme will receive a salary in line with the supporting school’s policy.

Training Bursaries 

Substantial tax-free bursaries of up to £26,000 are available for people with top degrees in certain subjects. The amount of bursary you will be eligible for depends on the subject you want to teach and your degree class. Below are the bursaries for trainees on an ITT programme from September 2019 to July 2020, this page will be updated when the 2020/21 bursaries are released by the DfE.

Please note that salaried trainees are not eligible for training bursaries.
